Sponsor a Woodlot
As we have invested within Hantz Woodlands other companies have joined us to accelerate progress toward truly livable neighborhoods. A popular method for getting involved has been sponsorship of our annual tree planting event. Held the first Saturday of April, Hantz Woodlands coordinates the planting of 3,000 trees to beautify neighborhoods within our 1 square mile footprint. Sponsors contribute to purchase blocks of 500 trees. Signs are placed to recognize sponsor contributions. Hantz Woodlands maintains the property over time, and sponsors gain a platform for neighborhood outreach on the lower east side of Detroit.
